Cohera Flow brings payment collection, money organization, scheduled business flows, and eligible commercial spending tools into one software workspace. Different companies provide different parts of that experience.
1. Who provides what
Cohera Flow
Cohera Flow provides the application, workflow tools, account interface, internal ledger views, allocation rules, scheduling features, support experience, and connections to approved financial providers. Cohera Flow is a financial technology platform. It is not a bank, depository institution, or money transmitter, and it does not itself hold deposits or issue cards.
Stripe
Stripe provides eligible payment processing, connected-account infrastructure, identity and business verification, and—where separately approved—money transmission and Financial Account services. Stripe and its affiliates may approve, restrict, delay, suspend, or discontinue a regulated capability based on eligibility, risk, compliance, law, and provider requirements.
Fifth Third Bank
For eligible Financial Accounts, account services are provided through Stripe Payments Company with funds held at Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. Fifth Third Bank is the participating bank for Cohera Flow’s assigned Financial Account program. A bank or program relationship does not make Cohera Flow a bank and does not mean every balance or feature shown in Cohera is a bank account.
2. Financial Accounts and money movement
Financial Account and regulated money-movement features are available only to eligible U.S. businesses and sole proprietors that complete required onboarding, identity and business verification, sanctions and risk screening, and provider approval. Showing a feature in the app does not mean that the feature is active or that an application has been approved.
For eligible users, Cohera Flow partners with Stripe Payments Company for money transmission services and account services with funds held at Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. Stripe Payments Company is a licensed money transmitter. Applicable Stripe, Fifth Third, Financial Account, electronic communications, and program terms must be accepted before activation.
3. FDIC pass-through insurance eligibility
Settled U.S. dollar balances in an eligible Financial Account may be eligible for FDIC pass-through deposit insurance only if all legal and program requirements are satisfied. Eligibility is determined by the FDIC at the time an insured bank enters receivership or another form of insolvency.
- Coverage applies only to settled eligible funds held at the identified participating bank—not pending, provisional, processing, or otherwise ineligible amounts.
- The standard maximum deposit insurance amount is currently $250,000 per depositor, per insured institution, for deposits held in the same ownership capacity.
- Eligible funds are aggregated with other deposits the beneficial owner holds at Fifth Third Bank in the same ownership category.
- Payment-processing balances, pending transactions, internal ledger entries, and Cohera “buckets” are not separate deposit accounts and should not be assumed to be FDIC-insured.
Cohera Flow does not provide or guarantee FDIC insurance.
4. Payment processing
Payment processing services for businesses using Cohera Flow are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Businesses are responsible for their goods and services, pricing, fulfillment, receipts, refunds, taxes, disputes, chargebacks, and compliance with Stripe’s prohibited and restricted business rules.
5. Commercial cards
Any virtual or physical card feature is available only under a separately approved Stripe Issuing program and is subject to the accountholder, issuing-bank, authorized-user, network, electronic-signature, wallet, and program terms presented during application or activation. The exact issuer and program disclosures presented for a card control if they conflict with this summary.
Card availability is not guaranteed. A card control shown in the interface does not mean that a card has been approved, issued, activated, or funded.
6. Business use only
Cohera Flow is designed for lawful commercial use by eligible U.S. businesses and sole proprietors. Unless separately approved terms expressly allow it, Financial Account, card, and money-movement features may not be used for personal, family, or household purposes.
Consumer peer-to-peer money transmission is not offered. “Send,” pay-tag, and recipient features are limited to permitted commercial payments, business disbursements, or other provider-approved transactions. Cohera may not be used to operate a money-services business, transmit funds for undisclosed third parties, commingle customer funds, or provide nested payment or money-transmission services.
7. Current platform fees and limits
| Item | Current platform default |
|---|---|
| Cohera platform fee for eligible Send transactions | $0.00 |
| Minimum eligible Send amount | $0.50 |
| Maximum eligible Send amount | $5,000 per transaction |
| Default daily card spending limit, if enabled | $500 |
These are Cohera platform controls, not promises that a feature or limit will be available. Stripe, a financial institution, a card network, or Cohera may impose lower or additional limits. Payment processing, instant payout, wire, card, currency conversion, dispute, return, negative-balance, replacement, delivery, ATM, or other third-party fees may apply only when disclosed in the relevant pricing, confirmation, fee schedule, or program terms.
8. Agreements that may apply
- Cohera Flow Terms of Service
- Cohera Flow Privacy Policy
- Stripe Connected Account Agreement
- Stripe Services Agreement
- Financial Account, Fifth Third Bank, card, electronic-signature, network, and other program-specific terms shown during onboarding or activation.
Provider records control regulated activity. Cohera maintains internal records to organize and display your workflow. Stripe, the applicable financial institution, payment network, or other regulated provider is the system of record for the transaction or balance it maintains, subject to applicable error-resolution rights.
